About Us
Dogs have been a part of my life for a number of years. My earliest recollection is from the early 1970's with my dad and I in the back yard teaching our German sheperd dog to sit. I won my first 'real' award in obedience through 4-H in 1976 accepting an Honorable Mention at the regional banquet. A few years and a couple dogs later I met my husband, Michael, at dog obedience school. He introduced me to standard poodles and it has been a love affair ever since.

Our first 'show quality' standard poodle was acquired in 1996. It is hard to believe more than a decade has passed. Ali-Ann poodles have the beauty for the conformation ring and the brains and the work ethic to be competitive in obedience events (including rally and agility). Several Ali-Ann Standard Poodles are Canine Good Citizens (CGC).
